Ferguson Receives Conservative Excellence Award

Congressman Drew Ferguson (R-Ga.) today released the following statement upon receiving the American Conservative Union’s (ACU) highest award of Conservative Excellence for voting to uphold conservative principles. Ferguson received this award, in part, because of his votes to repeal the Affordable Care Act, pass the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act and defund Planned Parenthood. “I told the people of the Third District that I would come to Washington to represent their conservative principles, and I am proud to have done so time and time again,” said Ferguson. “As a freshman member of Congress, Congressman Ferguson has made it clear that he is a staunch advocate for his constituents and their conservative principles,” said ACU Chairman Matt Schlapp. ### |
