Dear Friends,

As Georgia’s election integrity reform law continues to gain national attention, Democrat politicians, CEOs, the media, and others have incorrectly stated that these measures would restrict voters’ access to ballots. I have been actively debunking the myths peddled by the far Left — and their woke corporate cronies — and have sent an additional letter to Delta CEO Ed Bastian requesting once again for him to specifically detail the reasoning behind his opposition to SB 202. Read the full letter here.

To be clear: I will continue to call out "woke" corporate CEOs who spread false information, and I will continue to support these laws to ensure that every single Georgian — and every American — has the right to have their voice heard and their vote matter. I will always fight to protect every legitimate vote and ensure that every American has the right to vote and choose their own future in this country.

Standing Up for the Most Vulnerable

It is time to end infanticide, and last week, I was proud to show my commitment to protecting life by joining Congresswoman Kat Cammack (R-Fla.), Congresswoman Ann Wagner (R-Mo.), and House Republican Whip Steve Scalise's (R-La.) discharge petition to bring the Born-Alive Survivors Protection Act to the House floor for a vote.

This important bill mandates that any healthcare practitioner must provide care to a baby born alive after a botched abortion. These babies should receive the same treatment as any other baby born at that stage.

Protect the Court

Last week, Democrat members of the House Judiciary Committee, led by Chairman Jerry Nadler (D-NY), introduced legislation to expand the Supreme Court from nine justices to 13. While Speaker Nancy Pelosi said she didn't plan to bring his proposal to the floor, she also did not rule out packing the court in the future, saying the idea is "not out of the question."

It’s becoming clearer each day that the Democrats, pushed by members of the far Left, will not be satisfied until they have fundamentally altered and taken control of every aspect of our country. This proposal signals how dangerously far the partisan motivations of some of their members have gone. They are willing to dismantle the independence and undermine the legitimacy of one of our most sacred bodies in order to implement their socialist agenda. It is the rule of law — not political whims — that should guide our highest court. Advancing this bill would be a dangerous power grab that would erode this foundational institution.

In fact, President Joe Biden said in 1983 that court-packing could “put in question, if for an entire decade, the independence of the most significant body...in this country, the Supreme Court of the United States of America.” He called it a "bonehead idea." Liberal justices have also previously and recently voiced opposition to the idea. For example, the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg said, “There are some people on the Democratic side who would like to increase the number of judges. I think that was a bad idea…if anything would make the court appear partisan.” Justice Steven Breyer also recently stated that “Structural alteration [to the Court] motivated by the perception of political influence can only feed that perception, further eroding that trust.”

Dismantling our institutions to consolidate power in one party is a severely misguided approach and a slippery slope. What is to stop any party from adding more justices each time it is decided the Supreme Court holds the “wrong” balance? I strongly oppose structurally altering our highest court. The Supreme Court has been comprised of nine justices for more than 150 years—and steps should not be taken to undermine a core element of the checks and balances.
