Dear Friends,

Fueled by the supply chain crisis and the Democrats’ reckless policies, Americans are facing bare shelves, and hardworking families are unable to purchase critical necessities.

Now, thanks to their progressive agenda, mothers are struggling to feed their babies. As of today, roughly 40% of the nation’s baby formula is out of stock. And even if parents can find formula, many will struggle to afford it due to skyrocketing prices.

That's why I called on President Biden and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to work directly with the manufacturers and hospitals to make sure Americans have an adequate supply of baby formula. Simply put, no parent should have to ration formula to feed their child, and President Biden owes us a plan to immediately address this crisis.

National Police Week
During National Police Week, we thank our police officers for upholding our laws and protecting our communities. It’s no secret our nation’s law enforcement officers work each and every day to keep us safe and secure. I will always stand in support of our law enforcement across the country. Thank you for your service and sacrifice.

Skyrocketing Inflation Continues
The Consumer Price Index report last Wednesday shows that inflation has increased 8.3% from a year ago. This is a clear sign that inflation remains persistently and uncontrollably high under President Biden’s watch. Even worse, inflation-adjusted wages continue to drop for workers across the country, and on average, hardworking American households are paying an additional $569 each month for goods and services.

This simply cannot continue.

The Biden Administration shouldn't be scrambling to come up with a solution for this economic crisis of their own making. Americans are suffering as a direct result of their big-government socialist agenda and radical spending policies.

Gas Prices Hit Another Historic High
As of Sunday, the national average for a gallon of gas is $4.47 – the highest average price on record, and President Biden has no real plan to bring relief for Americans at the pump. In the midst of this energy crisis, the U.S. Department of the Interior announced last week that it would cancel offshore oil and gas lease sales in the Gulf of Mexico and Alaska. This will only further hamper our domestic oil production.

Across the country, folks are worse off because of Joe Biden's failed leadership.

Meetings in DC
I enjoyed meeting with Kia executives in my Washington, D.C. office last Tuesday to discuss critical issues facing the company. From labor shortages to transportation challenges to rising housing costs, I appreciated hearing their thoughts and concerns. Thanks for stopping by!
