This week, the House will consider two pieces of legislation pertaining to the Second Amendment. H.R. 8 will require so-called “universal background checks” at the federal level, which would effectively outlaw private sales throughout the country. H.R. 1446 would allow the FBI to delay a firearm transfer indefinitely. 

We all share the same goal to end gun violence. But in the course of this debate, House Democrats are steamrolling our Constitutional rights and force-feeding their radical agenda to the American people.
