Congressman Drew Ferguson (R-Ga.) today was named to three subcommittees as part of his work on the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee. Ferguson will join the Subcommittee on Water Resources and Environment and the Subcommittee on Highways and Transit and will be Vice Chair of the Subcommittee on Economic Development, Public Buildings, and Emergency Management.

“With a healthy national infrastructure system comes the opportunity for permanent job creation,” said Ferguson. “The United States cannot be an economic leader without targeted investments that strengthen our transportation systems. I am anxious to get to work in these subcommittees to create opportunities for American businesses and workers to succeed.”
